Vice President, Head of Intermediary Sales

David joined Baron in 2010 as head of intermediary sales. From 1986 to 2009, David worked at Columbia Management Distributors, Inc. in several sales positions; he was named managing director in 1997 and head of intermediary sales in 2007. Vice President, Head of National Accounts

David joined Baron in 2010 as head of national accounts. From 1997 to 2010, David worked at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney and its predecessor firms in various research positions and was named director of non-U.S. and growth strategies research in 2009. From 1995 to 1997, David worked at Alliance Capital as an investment analyst and marketing specialist. From 1994 to 1995, David worked at Gruntal & Co. as an equity research associate. David graduated from University of Michigan with a B.A. in Political Science in 1993 and from New York University Stern School of Business with an M.B.A. in 2001. Contact David

Roy Bentzen

National Account Manager

Roy joined Baron in 2012 as national account manager. From 2006 to 2012, he worked at AllianceBernstein, first as a strategic relationship manager and then as a partner relationship officer. From 2004 to 2006, Roy worked at Great-West Retirement Services as a client relationship manager. Roy graduated from Rider University with a B.S. in Business Administration in 2003. Contact Roy

Bill joined Baron in 2009 as a regional director. From 2005 to 2009, Bill worked at Van Kampen Investments as a regional vice president. From 2002 to 2005, Bill worked at Citigroup Asset Management as a director of sales. From 1996 to 2001, Bill worked at Merrill Lynch Investment Management as a regional vice president. From 1996 to 2001, Bill worked at Salomon Brothers Asset Management as a vice president. From 1986 to 1992, Bill served as a Lieutenant Commander in the U.S. Navy. Brian joined Baron in 2011 as a regional director. From 2002 to 2011, Brian worked at Calamos Investments as a vice president and investment consultant. In 2002, Brian worked at DWS Investments as a client service representative. From 2000 to 2001, Brian worked at Valhalla Group as an equity trader. Scott joined Baron in 2011 as a regional director. From 2004 to 2011, Scott worked at Calamos Investments as a vice president and senior investment consultant. From 1992 to 2004, Scott worked at Scudder Investments, first as a sales support representative, then as an inside wholesaler and finally as a senior regional vice president.
