Peggy Wong, CPA
Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer
Peggy joined Baron in 1987 as the chief financial officer. From 1983 to 1987, Peggy worked at KPMG LLP and then American Express Company as an independent auditor. Peggy graduated from New York University with a B.S. in Accounting in 1983.
Jane Liang, CPA
Vice President, Director, Corporate Accounting
Jane joined Baron in 2007 as the manager of corporate accounting and was named director in 2010. From 1999 to 2007, Jane worked at Eisner LLP as a senior manager. From 1998 to 1999, Jane worked at H.J. Behrman & Company as a senior accountant. From 1997 to 1998, Jane worked at Kinsey, Beck & Company as a staff accountant. Jane graduated summa cum laude from the City University of New York with a B.S. in Accounting and earned her CPA designation in 1999.
Marisel Class
Director, Mutual Fund Accounting
Marisel joined Baron in 2008 as the manager of mutual fund accounting and was named director in 2010. From 2007 to 2008, Marisel worked at TIAA-CREF as a manager of fund administration and SEC financial reporting. From 1999 to 2007, Marisel worked at Citigroup Asset Management and then Legg Mason Partners after it was acquired in 2005, as a vice president and assistant controller. From 1985 to 1999, Marisel worked at J. & W. Seligman as a senior controller. Marisel graduated from the City University of New York with an A.S. in Accounting.
